And the new strip is up! Sorry for the lateness. And apologies to Infinium Labs for the biting comedic commentary aimed at their Phantom Console! *

Power Outage in South Dakota
Posted By Chris Crosby at 1:48 PM
I wasn't able to upload today's strip because of a massive storm causing a power outage (17 hours and counting) in Cresbard, South Dakota. I'm having a friend type this for me. For those of you who also read "Superosity," that's the reason it's not up today. I am very depressed. I've got Wednesday's and Thursday's strips fully drawn and they can't be scanned because there's no power. Again, I am very depressed. Please forgive me for the lack of comics. Owen is at no fault. He supplied the artwork on time and did not cause the massive power outage. Go read today's great "Pupkin." My friend who is typing this for me really loves "Pupkin." *

The digs of the now
Posted By Owen at 2:38 AM
Here are some things I like;
Samurai Champloo- Best Anime I've seen in ages. Great character design, great style.
everything works.
Mesmirize- The new System of a Down disc. Everyone probably has it by now so this is
probably redundant, but this album is killer. Their next disc cannot come soon enough.
Bring on the Hypnotize, S.O.T.D.
Venture Bros- I'm just catching this now but I'm digging it. Not quite on Champloo levels but I think there is definitely something there. Cheers to adult Swim for being able to use "real" animation, although nothing has yet to beat the low budge charm of the Aqua Teens.
The Gorrilaz- Demon days is a solid disc. I loved the last Blur CD as well though so I'm probably not a fair judge.
Albarn and Hewlitt should do an animated film or T.V. series. It's too good of a concept execution to just have one taste every 3 years.
Gamewise I'm old schooling it up on a game boy advance, Just beat Metroid zero mission and Klonoa and now I'm tackling Final Fantasy 1(!) and Metroid Fusion. Luvs me some 'Troid and even old school FF is drug like.
Thanks all y'all.
