Does this mean we have to create our own Flash cartoon in response?
Posted By Chris Crosby at 3:19 PM
If you sit through most of this episode (the third in a series set at this year's E3) of Matt Wilson's Flash-animated series BONUS STAGE, your reward is a witty reference to SORE THUMBS! Confusion is also likely but not guaranteed.

I did 5 pages in one day!!!!
Posted By Owen at 7:24 PM
Hi everyone. Chris and I finished up the Free Comic Book Day issue of Sore Thumbs this week. It was madness! Things came out really well though, There's an exclusive story in there that I think everyone will really like. There is still time to get down to the comic shop and make sure they order you a copy, did I mention it's FREE! Harmony shows up in hot pants and Cecania wears a cute bumblebee shirt. For real!
E3 looks to be going quite nicely, I wish I was there. GTA: San Andreas looks very cool. FF 12 and the new Zelda also look super hot.
Thanks to everyone who sent me tunes for the Sorethumbs soundtrack. It'll be pure magic.
More soon. Thanks.

Scarier and scarier...
Posted By Chris Crosby at 4:58 PM
A doctor calls the Berg beheading video a fake. Berg's father was put on a right-wing "enemies list" in March. Tom Browkaw reports the theory that the CIA killed Berg to take heat off the Pentagon.

NOTE: Neither myself or Owen necessarily endorse or agree with any of the content linked to above (or ANY sites we link to, for that matter). I personally think there COULD be more to the Berg beheading tragedy than the media is reporting, but I haven't seen any hard proof of that. Either way, it's a horrible thing, and all the more reason why the U.S. should be focused completely on fighting terrorism and not distracted by nation-building.

Disney surrendered!

They sold the movie to Miramax!

Disney and Miramax may divorce!

Disney apparently refused Miramax's offer to buy back Moore's 9/11 film for $6 million+!

RUPERT BONEHAM IN 2004!
Posted By Chris Crosby at 1:34 AM
VOTE FOR RUPERT to win the million-dollar Viewer's Choice SURVIVOR prize! I have been rooting for him forever and I'd love to see him win it. Heck, I would gladly vote for him for President of the United States. Even if he was running as a Republican!

More From Michael Moore
Posted By Chris Crosby at 6:41 PM
If Michael Eisner meant it a year ago when he told Moore's agent he wouldn't distribute the film, why did he send him six million Disney dollars over the next year? Jeez, Eisner sounds nearly as incompetent as Bush! No wonder Roy Disney Jr hates him so.

Michael Eisner Is A Big Fat Idiot

Disney blocks Miramax from releasing Michael Moore's new film.

Cecania's been MOONLIGHTING!

Or should I say HAVINGSEXWITHCHECKERBOARDNIGHTMARELIGHTING?

(Speaking of such things, we've been getting a bunch of great fan art that I've been meaning to put on the site. Soon!)

Oh, and don't forget to listen to the free-downloading songs of Owen's pal Gord Prior. They are good songs indeed.

Hi everyone. My good friend Gord Prior
has a new 4 song EP out called One Hard Shot. He's got all 4 songs as free downloads on his site. It's all about just getting the music out there and listened to. Less about money and more about the art being seen, like a free webcomic for your ears !! All the tracks are poppy and cool. "highschool" is my early fave.

Speaking of music, I'm putting together a downloadable online Sorethumbs soundtrack complete with cover art and liner notes and what not. If anyone reading would like to be involved please sent me links or mp3's to my hotmail account at owengieni@hotmail.com. It could be some good exposure. I'm hoping to have a track or two of my own on there as well.

Also, I want to thank everyone who has been writing in with comments. It's great to hear from you. I promised myself that I'd write back to everyone but I haven't been at my computer for a week and I fell far behind. I hope everyone keeps writing though. Every message is read and appreciated. One day I'll have my own computer and then I'll be able to give personalized love to each and everybody. "Personalized Love" is also the name of the song I'll one day write.

President F***-Up
Posted By Chris Crosby at 6:28 PM
When Kerry wants to go negative, this could be one of his ads. It's even more disturbing than that famous "little girl holds a flower as the world blows up" ad from years ago.

And before someone E-Mails me saying "But Kerry VOTED for the war!", I'll say that he voted for the resolution giving the President the POWER to go to war if he so chooses, in the off-chance that the country actually needed to be defended from the immediate threat that was Saddam "Spider Hole" Hussein. Any reasonable person would vote for THAT when the President is so damn sure that Saddam would be lobbing nuclear bombs at us any second. I mean, he's George W. Bush, but he's also THE PRESIDENT, right?

As Kerry said in a ROLLING STONE interview, "Did I expect George Bush to f*** it up as badly as he did? I don't think anybody did." 'Nuff said, John.

Kerry's Two New TV Ads

Posted By Chris Crosby at 2:38 PM
John Kerry's got two extremely positive new TV ads. His website says it's the largest ad buy of any campaign ever. They're good ads, too. John Kerry may be kind of a douchebag at times, but I like him and I think he'll make a fine President.

"I love the Power Glove. It's so bad."

Continuing the SORE THUMBS HATE EXPRESS, there's a funny review of the strip here. I love it in the same way I love the Power Glove. Or the NBC mini-series "10.5". Or PvP.

WARNING: Scott Kurtz doesn't like SORE THUMBS.
Posted By Chris Crosby at 5:51 PM
"I went ahead and read all of the Sore Thumbs comics. It's crap." -Scott Kurtz, PvP

You may want to stop reading SORE THUMBS right now. If Scott Kurtz doesn't like something, it must be of poor quality!

(WARNING to the WARNING: Scott Kurtz also loves STAR TREK: VOYAGER and wants to have sexual relations with Kate Mulgrew.)

Do you like to laugh?

Posted By Chris Crosby at 3:45 PM
If you want to watch one of the best and funniest TV shows ever, buy FATHER TED on DVD. I discovered it a few months ago through Netflix and just finished watching the entire series. It's one of the brilliantest comedies ever made. It's about crazy priests in Ireland.

Oh, and... George W. Bush sucks.
