The first "debate"

Kerry was better than expected.

Bush sounded drunk, but only a LITTLE bit gay.

Congrats to President Bush for supressing most of his homosexuality for nearly two hours in a row!

Some things and such
Posted By Owen at 11:33 PM
Hi friends. Last week I had a story published in issue 18 of Digital Webbing Presents. I just got ahold of a copy and it came out very swank indeed. My part's just 5 pages but if you can find a copy at your local comic shop I'd love to hear your thoughts. Actually, as I write this, I remember that I have the pages up on a portfolio site I did up. I think it's about time I unleashed it on the unsuspecting masses, Here's some art for you at In Between Days Yay!. The story is still better read in print but at least you'll see the art I'm still (semi) proud of. Don Mackinnon on colors, Tony Lee wrote most of the scripts on that site unless otherwise noted.
Anyway, hope you dig it. We'll have Sorethumbs related pin ups and such soon, I promise.
I loved Shaun of the Dead, my favorite movie this year probably. Sky Captain was beautiful as well, especially the snow scenes and Shangri-La. Beautiful. The new Interpol disc broke my brain, I've been really digging Broken Social Scene as well. I'm still going to do that Sore Thumbs music album, it's just gonna be a christmas release I think. I hath not forgotten.

Thanks everyone, I love you all.
( that's what's going on my tombstone, just so you know)

This is my first SORE THUMBS birthday! Celebrate by participating in a revered webcomics tradition...
Posted By Chris Crosby at 12:00 AM
I am 27 years old today. As a test of the power of SORE THUMBS' growing fanbase of lovably insane people, as well as the fact that I enjoy receiving cash money in my E-Mail box, I am kindly asking all those who enjoy the strip to PLEASE SEND ME BIRTHDAY MONEY. No amount is too large or too small, whatever you can spare. If you do not send any, no need to worry, the strip will not end because of it.

If you're kind enough to send me some green, I'll give half of it to good ol' Owen Gieni as an early Christmas present, 'cause there is no THUMBS without The Gieni.

Hi everyone.

Hi gang, I just wanted to write in and apologize about the art being a bit slack the past couple weeks.
I just started a new job, went salmon fishing and caught pneumonia all at the same time. Things are back on track a bit more now and this weeks strips should be sharper looking. It means a lot to me to not miss an update but I'll try not to compromise the art in the process.
I just finished reading George R.R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones" at a friends request. I was pretty dismissive at first, what with it being a "fantasy" novel and all but after that second chapter I was toast. I've never finished an 800 page book that fast before. I ate it up. Beautiful stuff.
Game wise I'm fully into Dynasty Warriors obsessive style. I also picked up MGS 2 for only 10 bucks! I can finally catch up and be ready when Snake Eater hits. Silent hill 4 taunts me everyday to purchase it as well, I want to do more than just rent that one I think.
John "Gambit" Layman was nice enough to send me some of his comics. His "Puffed" limited series is amazing and you would not believe how secretly subversive his "Thundercats" comics from Wildstorm are. Check out the recent "enemy's pride" to see the kind of madness that can be done with a half cat/half Ronald McDonald kids toy. Hilarious.
That's all, I'll write more soon.
Thanks.
