Free Comic Book Day is THIS SATURDAY!
Posted By Chris Crosby at 5:03 AM

This Saturday, be sure to ask your local comic shop owner for FREE copies of KEENSPOT SPOTLIGHT 2007 (which has a cool WICKEDPOWERED flip cover by Owen) and LAST BLOOD #1 (which was co-created by me and my brother Bobby, drawn by Owen, and written by Bobby)! On Saturday from 4-6pm, Bobby will be signing copies of LAST BLOOD #1 at the world-famous Golden Apple Comics on Melrose in Los Angeles. (HELLBOY creator Mike Mignola will also be there earlier that day.)

I just finished reading Last Blood #1 this morning. I can tell you that it ended up in my "pursue further" pile.

My only qualm is how far can you take the comic? How many issues can you expand the story across?

But I can tell you this, I'll be looking for the next issue this July.

Hey, just saw this. The story can be expanded across at least a hundred issues very easily. My main concern is how I'm going to have the time to write them all, as opposed to trying to figure out what will happen. There's an endless amount of stories to tell here and I may hire some co-writers and multiple artists if the series becomes a hit. One plan is to publish several different mini-series simultaneously, mostly prequels where we see what everyone was doing in the first month and how exactly the world was taken over. There are also many other stories to tell, like the origin of the First Zombie, which would be another 100 pages. There is a huge event at the end of the first graphic novel, though, issue #4, which will lead into many sequels.
