To clear up any possible confusion, because I know I frequently confuse people (and for good reason!)...

Today's comic should not be taken as a slam at Penny Arcade in any way, shape, or form. I think Penny Arcade is one of the few genuinely witty comics on the web. As well, Tycho and Gabe were two of the first people to encourage me way back when I started making webcomics, and I really appreciated that. There are few people I'd rather see succeed so mind-shatteringly well than those two super-intelligent knuckleheads.

Today's strip was a slam at VG Cats, however. Booooooo, video game cats!

Any selfrspecting webcomic-creator knows that.

Every Selfrespecting Webcomic-creator with a sense of humor knows that making fun of something you love is the most sincerest form of flattery.

Every reader of fancomics who takes that making fun as an insult, is pretty dimwitted.

Every reader of fancomics who feels the need to explain above, has no life whatsoever.

Okay... 'Zakath is piling on the "selfrespecting webcomic artist" thing a little heavily. (Please don't flame me, just stating an opinion)

You know, there are times when I think VG Cats goes a little too far, but overall I think it's pretty funny. (I have plans to get a "Jenova's Witness" T-shirt.) I get why you wouldn't like it, and that's cool. There are a lot of webcomics out there that everyone else really likes, but I can't stand. Anyway, rock on.
