I and many, if not nearly all, Europeans (or non-Americans in general) simply can not understand why America chose Bush. TWICE for whatever deity you do or don't believe in's sake. Watching this 'speech' is yet another reminder of this feeling of amazement at the American choice... How on earth could this guy lose to Bush? No way in hell Bush would ever do anything even partly similar to this, the guy has no sense of humor at all.

Okay, so lemme get this straight... So, America elects Al Gore, a winter earth happens, gas prices are at an all time low meaning people aren`t traveling, apparently there's trash around to burn freely (Apparently, we`re at a point where the pollution from burning garbage wouldn`t matter), the Administration is holding trillions of dollars for itself, America has been split up, Hollywood heros are being made into political figures, AND Afghanistan, which is desolate, mountainous area, has become a paradise.

Conjecture: After Al Gore was elected, America and the European Nations were hit with a massive nuclear strike. Billions died, and the nuclear strike created a nuclear winter due to the dust. During this time, Al Gore strikes a deal with Osama Bin Laden to become an ally on the war against the world, giving OBL all of our military units in return for massive amounts of money and 'protection'. The administration then hordes this money, and in order to put a good face on itself, hires figureheads to run the government. At this point, there is a total media blackout, the only telecasts are from the President or from the allowed internet broadcasts. So nobody knew of the cessession of California in 2001, until three years later. As for Afghanistan? There was no radioactive fallout around that area, however during the past five years the windcurrents changed to allow Afghanistan to become similar to a tropical paradise. And as for the poor Europeans, well, there is no system of government there anymore, the reason they love Americans so much is because only the Americans are still rich enough to provide them food.

America chose Bush because... well, it never did. It just refused to stand up for itself. In 2000, Gore won but the Supreme Court appointed Bush. In 2004, they rigged the election. Technically, according to our 22nd constitutional amedment, I think Bush can run for president one more term since he's never been elected. Isn't that scary?

And apparently you didn't listen to what the comedy sketch said, techus. A) the winter thing was a joke in the vein of "if you do too job of preventing global warming, it'll get colder" B) gas prices are down 'cause gas isn't needed to travel C) he didn't say they BURN trash, just that they run on it, and of course there's plenty of it. D) Hollywood heroes becoming political? You mean like Ronald Reagan and the Gubernator? I guess I'd call you stupid, but I'm probably equal stupid for responding. Okay, maybe not equally stupid 'cause you ae defintiely a major league moronm but a little stupid.

Bush 'stole' the election? Wasn`t the election decided on by the Supreme Court? I doubt he had much to do with the Supreme Court before he was actually president...

Isn't it kind of scary to you that in a country where we're supposed to elect officials by majority vote that the majority can be ignored and bypassed with our Supreme Court. It was as if our votes suddenly didn't actually count anymore.
