I love this comic, you always link me to the greatest little bits of news/media that I missed.
I've looked hard for the MSNBC feed, but I couldn't find it anywhere, on the video networks or the P2P networks. I think fewer people watch MSNBC than do C-Span.
The closest I found was ABC did a constant on GWB watching Colbert's "audition video." There were a few chuckles, but his position was overall defensive, and he seemed to lose interest about halfway through. I think the Helen Thomas chase scene confused him.

I've watched the video twice now, and I'd have to say "pissed off" is an example of wishful thinking at work. If anything, he seemed bored out of his mind >.> ....
Hell, I'm a fan of Colbert ("The Word" is, in my opinion, the best part of his show XD), and even I was kinda disappointed with the act he put together . . . for god's sake, the man BOMBED, that's why most of the mainstream media didn't bother covering it (which prompted conspiracy theories all over the place).
Hopefully the Colbert Report doesn't turn into /that/, then I'd have precious little comedy to watch ;-;
