The Right/Wrong cell still kills me.

People actually found this thing cute? I clicked on the link expecting to see something that kind of had a strange cartoon like adorability to it. Well, they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder (no pun intended....really) It just thought the poor thing looked gross and sick.

are u sure it is real, i belive that cats are born basicaly bald and that one had more hair than i thought would have grown in only a day (plus they have there eyes closed not wide open) i think that this is probably a photoshop

Looks authentic to me, it shows up in the Associated Press search engine, and they the primary source for news photos. I would have to say though, that this is one of the unbelievable deformities that I have seen.

The world needs more adorable Cyclops Kittens. Perhaps an entire breed of adorable Cyclops Kittens. Ones that live more then just a day. And we shall take these Kittens, and use their overwhelming powers of Cute to take over the world!!!

These pictures have been confermed as undeniably true. the original photocard was inspected by someone who know what they are talking about, and deemed impossible to fake. also, the body of the cat is being chilled so that it may be studied by scientists.

Additionally, the reason the eye was open is because the cat had no eyelid. It's part of the deformity.

... a cute yet freakish one-eyed monster...yeah. Insert penis joke here.

I thought cats actually breathed through their noses so Im wondering how this thing could have even survived for the one day that it did without a nose.

Go look up cephalic disorder on Wiki. This is a dysfunction category the likes of which I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
Cats are mamalian. They can breathe through their mouths. It's a miracle this thing wasn't stillborn. Such an abominaiton could never be stabilised long enough to survive.
He looks a little like a monkey.

If I didn't believe in karma, I WOULD wish it on my worse enemy and several other lesser enemies.

This thing isn't cute, it's TERRIFYING! Also, it's weird that the eye was perfectly centered, generally in deformities of this type the body loses much of its symmetry (misspelled but whatever). Though i fail to see why it caused such a stir, if it shot LAZERS maybe...
By , at 8:43 PM
the cat also lacks an eye-lid, hince, the big old open eye...

I WANT ONE!!!!!!ID CUDDLE IT,PLAY WITH IT,AND THROW IT AT LITTLE CHILDREN CAUSING THEM TO WET THEIR PANTS!!!
By , at 1:23 PM
Pretty sure there's a pussy joke in there too...

Firstly, it's dead centred because cat's faced/heads are symetically split into two parts by the forebrain. Because of the disorder the cat had, the forebrain didn't fully split so no full nose and only one eye were formed dead in the middle like it did.
To the person who said the world needs more cyclops kittens: You're sick. These tihngs can not function like a normal cat, which is the reason it's a miracle they aren't still born and it's a miracle it even survived one day.
