Losin' 350 lbs. is EASY when you're doing it for CHARITY! (Or so I hope.)

I am very, very, very morbidly obese. This is not a good thing, to say the least.

Thankfully, I am now attempting to change that by participating in the Biggest Webcomic Loser challenge, in which I will lose 350 lbs. and you kind people will pledge to give a certain amount of money for every pound that I lose to UNICEF (quite possibly the most worth charity on the planet). For example, if you pledge $0.10 per pound, you'll donate $35 to UNICEF when I've reached my goal. If you pledge $1 per pound, you'll donate $350 to UNICEF when I've reached my goal. I think you get the picture.

As of this writing, I have $5.20 per pound ($1,820 total) pledged to me, and I've lost 16 lbs. It's been eight days since I started.

If you've got the money to pledge and you're serious about donating it, please do so. The higher my pledge level gets, the more I want to lose that weight. Because if I don't lose it, a very worthy cause will lose thousands of dollars they would've gotten if I wasn't such a stupid lazy jerk. I've obviously got a lot of other motivators already, but every little bit helps, and that's a darn good one to have.

Thank you for your time and consideration. BIGGEST WEBCOMIC LOSER. * 8 comments

One Hundred and Sixty?! Bloody hell! That's more than twice as much as I weigh -- and there I was thinking I was a fat bastard!

Meh, nothing wrong with a few extra pounds or so in the right places: The 'beer belly' is bad since it means that you're statistically more likely to have heart disease, kidney failure, liver damage and the like. Still, 160 kilos is a tad much...

Well he weighs about 240 kg (525 lbs) to start with! So losing 160 kg is not bad in comparison to that
