Reset the clone-o-mat

Here are some things I like that start with the letter B.

BERSERK - Manga-ka Kentaro Miura's epic, and I mean EPIC manga/anime is my favorite series. It's so well planned. My dream as a comic artist was always to do a bunch of separate stories written by various authors. A library full of different genres and authors, but Berserk makes me question that. Perhaps a giant personal style epic would be the ticket. Read more about the 'Zerk here .

I like the recent disks from Bloc Party and Bonnie "prince" Billly , they are lovely. I like other bands as well but their starting letters don't cut it.

This is unrelated, but I don't have cable T.V and the local broadcast of the O.C didn't have the ROTS trailer.
That sucks. I've always been proud to be a Canadian but now my whole perception is blown.
I don't know what's right and what's wrong anymore. Thanks a lot CTV! * 11 comments

Speaking of CTV madness. One cannot believe the foolishness that they allow to replace items such as ROTS trailer. The audience they lost as a result of that action is ridiculous. I, Dylan Owen's friend, would like to say CTV's choices in entertainment are foolish and absolutely ridiculous.

CRTC mandates no non-canadian advertising. If you had cable and flipped it onto a US cable station that was carried in your area they would be showing the canadian commercial as well. Case in point last week when Lost was on, CTV was experiencing technical difficulties and the other 2 stations from ABC that show the show were piggybacking the signal and were blacked out as well.
Only way to see US commercials is thru satellite. Peace out! :P :)

It actually did show the last bit of it, starting at "You were the Chosen One!"
But an hour of The O.C. was not worth that.

I have since seen the traler and i think it is beautiful. I'm not the hardest core star wars fan but ROTS is the movie I'm looking foward to the most. Even over Sin City or Nolan's Batman. I'm probably the most curious about War of the worlds though, I'm not sure if it will work or fail completely. This should be a good summer for movies I think.

Meh, we'll just see more half-hearted remakes/sequels, dumbass comedies and even more of the current suspense/horror/thriller trend. Still, I suppose a good summer would showcase at least a half-dozen good movies, so we'll see...

Er, the summer is generally when all of the worst movies come out.
The original post for this is maybe the saddest thing I've read in a while and should be titled: "How Wanting to See a Trailer (Yes, A fucking Advertisment For a Movie That I'm Already Going To Go See)Led to a Better Understanding Of How Canadian Cable Television Broadcasting Works"

I'm also a Canadian, a serious SW fan (since seven years of age! XD ) and a sucker for cute guys but, seriously, it's a TRAILER, ladies. Now get your panties out of a bunch:
