Can I choose Jon Stewart?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:10 PM

No.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:49 AM

Why would I do that?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:49 PM

I didn't want to say it, but someone has to:

Anyone who doesn't vote for Jon Stewart is kind of a terrorist. That's right, I said it. And you can quote me on that.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:15 PM

I'm proud to say I voted completely randomly. I hope everyone else does the same.

Why all the options under Music are country is beyond me...

Vote for the people's choice awards?
...Are you gonna cry and whine this time when your guy doesn't win?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:11 AM

Are you going to cry and whine when people uncover evidence that the winners cheated and should have never won in the first place, and then try to justify it with an argument that's basically, "No, they won, they already said they won, too late to take it back, nyeh nyeh nyeh!"?

By Blogger Jubetas, at 12:39 PM

Yeah, vote for The Incredibles. At least they told you up front it was fiction.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:46 PM

What are the People's Choice-awards?
(What people?)
Who is John Stewart?
Why are his supporters terrorists?
(But why is not John Stuart a terrorist?)
Will voting in said awards increase my chances of having rude sex with pretty entities?

Answers to your questions:
- A cheap marketing ploy for the entertainment industry.
- The people who star in the movies, videos, etc...
- The most trusted name in fake news.
- His supportes question and ridicule the gouvernment and everything political.
- He attacks with devious weapons that American politicians cannot oppose or defend against, like free thought and laughter. Plus he's a comedian, so no one takes him seriously, and you're not supposed to. He's just supposed to get you thinking, or give you a good laugh.
- Not unless you're a rude entity yourself or happen to be on the judging pannel...

Oh, and FYI, I'm not entirely serious with this post.

Make sure to vote for something pornographic...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:16 AM

What are people? Can you eat them?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:06 AM

I beleive George Bush will win by a landslide vote. And noone will even raise an eyebrow. And when people say "He shouldnt have won the people's choice awards, he wasnt even a nominee!" All the republicans will say "Get over it! He'd find a way to kill us all anyway!"

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:34 AM

Yes, we know. You want us to vote Farenheit 9/11 for favorite movie. No, it's not going to win. Anyone with any taste at all would pick Incredibles, Shrek, or Spidey far over that steaming heap. Sowwy. :) (I voted Incredibles myself. Pure awesomeness, that one.)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:40 AM

Farenheit 9/11 wasn't even a well-done documentary, more like a bad reality show...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:39 AM

Speaking as as a left-wing nutjob, if Farenheit 9/11 wins, I will cry. "The Increadibles" beats all.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:59 PM

OK. Let's see if I got this straight:
I vote for, say... "Private Special Compilation: C*mshot DeLuxe" (a good, if sticky movie!) this will somehow cause massive social and political upheaval in USA?

Not to mention cause G.W. Bush to kill us all? (Personally? Wow...that's one dedicated president you've got!!!)

But if I DON't vote for any film at all then Usama Bin Laden, Abu Jihad and Mr.Rogers will blow up a bunch of innocents and place tha blame on me,effectively turning me into a terrorist in the eyes of the world?

I just can't wrap my mind around US politics...
What's wrong with voting for someone, put him/her/it in a fancy house and ignore said entity?

I began voting, but then there were more and more categories where I just hadn't seen any of the movies or knew of any of the people, so I decided to just let the Americans keep it for themselves. Because they are the "people", right? Surely the rest of us don't have any duty to vote in that award thing? Assuming that we have the right to call ourselves "persons", that is.

But yeah, the Incredibles rocked. If it doesn't win in all its categories, we'll blame USA for being foreign devils who eat babies and drink souls.

I don't know about you, but I eat souls and drink babies.

What kind of world is this if a good, old fashioned family of super heros can't beat a fat, socialist super villain?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:14 AM

I voted for Fahrenheit 9/11 to win the award. I laughed, I cried, and I had deep and serious thoughts and discussions related to the movie. You don't get that all the time with a movie.

Whether you want to admit it or not, it's a damn good movie. I think it deserves the award, myself. I would also like to see Jon Stewart win his award, but like Fahrenheit 9/11, he has some serious competion. Either way, if either of them lose it won't be as pathetic as a Bush victory.

Think about it: The dems ran against the worst war president ever, one of the worst economy presidents better and the worst foreign affairs president since Johnson. Losing to him is pathetic.

Now consider Fahrenheit 9/11 having to beat Shrek, Spiderman and The Incredibles. If we lose against Shrek or Spiderman, we can all just say "He was Spiderman! You can't beat him!"

"Shrek won, you dumbass."

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:46 PM

Please, let's not get into the horrible mess that was 'Indecision '04' again...

I voted for the family films, because I know they'll probably never win all of the awards they deserve.

you like gay junk?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10:36 AM

You don't like happy junk?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:04 AM

Do you know why John Kerry lost the election? Because his supporters need movies like F9/11 to "make them think".

Seriously, next time don't put your faith in any sort of media just because it fits your current worldview. Think for yourselves, it's a lot easier than you think. ;)
