Child's Play 2004
Posted By Chris Crosby at 1:50 AM
PENNY ARCADE's "Child Play" program launches up again today, according to Tycho. It's well worth your involvement, particularly if you're into doing good things for the human spirit and stuff like that.

I think it's great what the Penny Arcade guys are doing for these sick children. As the parent of a child who was once afflicted with cancer, I can understand the hardships these children are going through and how much something like Child's Play really means to them and their day to day struggles. I just hope this comment space doesn't become bogged down by squabbling over politics and loose any relevancy.

I agree, this charity is great, sick kids deserve all the joy they can get! I know if I was in hospital I'd love to have things to play with.

Those sick kids need to suck it up. Back in my day, if you were diagnosed with Leukemyia, you got up and you walked it off. What pansies, needing "bed rest" and "chemotherapy."

You goddamn liberals and your "helping children." Maybe the children will be helped better by shooting bullets at Saddam Hussein! Did you stop to think of that? NO. Because you're a goddamn pinko communist nazi tree hugger who doesn't support killing people.

(What? This entry needed the standard "conservative diatribe" we've come to expect.)

Support smaller government unless you mean expanding it into gay people's personal lives, that's ok!

Michael Moore is... um... fat?

I'm glad to see them firing up the charity wheels again. Last year's total was about $250,000 for one charity. Let's see what they get for 5. Think it'll top a mil?

Wonder if anyone has made fliers to print and distribute...
